This upper drum felt is the replacement seal that cushions and guides the dryer drum for quieter operation and smoother rotation. It helps protect the drum edge and prevents clothes from catching where the drum meets the front bulkhead. What it does:

Replaced rear bushing and used a synthetic grease rated at 600F. New upper felt to better center the drum and new belt.
