1.Removed the electrical connector and replaced with new 16 gauge wires soldered in place and insulated. 2. Removed old door gasket and retainer and replaced with new gasket and retainer, using new screws. [The repair video associated with this repair kit is incorrect. The gasket is installed in a retainer which is mounted on the dishwasher frame, typical of most Whirlpools.
