Structural door frame for dishwashers. Mounts to the tub and supports the door panel. Replace if cracked, rusted, warped, or damaged from corrosion.
I had no hope of separating the panel from the frame without damaging the frame since the two parts were rusted pretty badly and the screws holding the panel to the frame were completely beyond salvage. So I had to replace both the panel and the frame. I ended up removing the electrical/electronic connections, removing the panel/frame from the hinge and then replacing it with the new parts. Replaced hose, ordered a new top wash arm at the same time and replaced that also. Ordering the parts was easy, received parts in two days, installed with no problem, however, did need my husband's help in pushing down tube for a tight fit. Read more
