Noise was coming from dryer rotation so I checked in to what it was. Found out the drum gasket had a tear in it causing the drum to "skip a beat" during operation. A month ago I replaced the heating element in a Samsung Dryer, everything was working great, then it stopped heating again. I disassembled the dryer again thinking g the heating element had quit working again. After takining it apart again I found the element be still intact and okay. It wound up as the thermistor switch that is located in the out vent duct along with an over temp switch. As long as it was apart I replaced the drum belt which made for extra work but it saves another down time later. If a person goes by the Samsung manual you will take a lot more off than needed.
