The drum rear cover is the back panel inside your dryer drum that seals the rear of the drum and supports the drum's rotation. It prevents clothes and small items from falling into the internal components behind the drum. Replace this part if you hear scraping or thumping during a cycle, notice clothes snagging on a gap at the back of the drum, or the cover is cracked or broken.
This dryer top cover assembly forms the upper exterior housing of the dryer and may include the lint filter housing or control panel mounting points. It protects internal components and provides access for maintenance. Replace this assembly if the top is cracked, dented, or if the lint filter area is damaged.
