This main control board manages all electronic functions of your dryer including cycle selection, temperature control, and timing operations. It processes sensor inputs and controls heating elements, motors, and other components throughout the drying cycle. Replace this board if your dryer won't start, cycles don't complete properly, or temperature settings don't work correctly.
I had to replace the thermal fuse (2ND time in a year because my wife won't clean the lint trap!) The total repair take less that a minute....but you have to take the entire dryer apart to get to the fuse. Nothe that difficult and a lot of online tools and videos to help you do it. Read more
Replaced motor assembly. Also replaced drum belt since I was in there. Change out was SIMPLE, Full motor assembly came as one piece, saved a ton of time from having to disasemble the motor only. Total time was less then 45min. Read more
Due to manufacturer changes, the idler assembly is no longer included. If needed use part number DC93-00634A. For the motor bracket only use part number DC61-01213A.
This air duct channels heated air from your dryer's heating element to the drum where clothes are dried. It ensures proper airflow circulation and heat distribution throughout the drying cycle. Replace if clothes take longer to dry, don't heat properly, or if you notice reduced airflow from the dryer vent.
