A month ago I replaced the heating element in a Samsung Dryer, everything was working great, then it stopped heating again. I disassembled the dryer again thinking g the heating element had quit working again. After takining it apart again I found the element be still intact and okay. The start button had been tricky to use. You had to push it in just a certain way to get the dryer to start. Eventually it was non-responsive. All other controls worked and there was no error code displayed. The repair was to replace the whole control board which cost around $100. Heavy sigh.. Be sure to keep track of all your screws.
