Rear pump housing that encloses and aligns the drain pump assembly. Replace if cracked, warped, or damaged to restore proper water channeling.
The pump impeller came apart so it was not pumping the water and making noise. The dishwasher came apart easy but the gasket to the sump assembly stayed attached to the bottom of the tub and did not pull it off. I was running my thumb around the gasket to see if it was in good shape or if I needed to replace it and sliced my thumb open on the sharp edge of the tub opining.
