Description

An integrated door switch for dishwashers that senses when the door is closed and allows the machine to start. Replacing a worn or damaged switch restores normal operation and helps prevent cycles from running with an open door. What it does:

• Detects door-closed position and tells the control board the door is secure
• Enables the dishwasher to start cycles only when the door is properly latched
• Prevents operation or pauses cycles if the door is open or not fully closed
