First replaced start capacitor but that did not work, the start kit which has a relay and overload protector is what was needed. The relay is actually the only part that was bad I believe. After pulling the relay off the compressor you could shake it and it rattled, the new one did not. Really pretty easy and definitely cheaper than a service call. Read more

Use the website to diagnose potential problems. The two most-likely fixes were a new heater element and a new thermostat. I was hesitant to try the repair, but the online video was so excellent that I decided to do the repair myself. I ordered the parts and they showed up the next afternoon! I went on line to this vendor. I found the part then called to speak to a rep. He confirmed the oart. We ordered it through the rep and it came two days aerie then expected. While I can admit the packaging could have been more protective especially for a metal and glass shelf, it arrived undamaged and perfectly brand new piece.
