The freezer door shelf rail is the plastic trim strip that runs along the inside edge of your freezer door and holds door bins securely in place. It snaps into the door liner to create a stable track that keeps shelves from shifting or falling. Replace this part if your door bins are loose, wobble, fall out, or if the existing rail is cracked or broken.
I could hear the old motor try to turn by it's hum but no ice came out. I made sure the auger was not jammed. The motor replacement took about 15 minutes. This was a very simple fix, one wire connection and 9 screws. Read more

I went on line to this vendor. I found the part then called to speak to a rep. He confirmed the oart. We ordered it through the rep and it came two days aerie then expected. While I can admit the packaging could have been more protective especially for a metal and glass shelf, it arrived undamaged and perfectly brand new piece.
