The dispenser drip tray catches water and ice that falls from the refrigerator's front-mounted water and ice dispenser. Replace when the tray is cracked, stained beyond cleaning, or doesn't fit properly in its slot.
Internet videos provided troubleshooting help. Verified ice maker working by shorting terminals and then verified valve was bad with ohmmeter check. Troubleshooting Info available with Google youtbube search. Part arrived with 3 days. 30 minute change out.
