Internet videos provided troubleshooting help. Verified ice maker working by shorting terminals and then verified valve was bad with ohmmeter check. Our refrigerator is over 15 years old and has been working great with only minor complaints and repairs. We noticed that our water level has been discolored from minor dripping. Our hard water discolors everything. We decided to replace this lever and. The ice dispense lever was also replaced since we wanted both to match and I had to open that area anyway. I am so happy! Watched the video in YouTube and how to replace my refrigerator door handles. I ordered the exact handles with the model # of my refrigerator, the handles came in about 4 days, all the way to Hawaii. It took me maybe 10 minutes to replace both handles.
