This fan motor retainer secures the refrigerator's fan motor to its mounting bracket or shroud, reducing vibration and keeping the fan aligned so air circulates properly for consistent cooling.

The broken track and shelf stud were the most important part of the repair. I was astounded to find parts for a 20 year old fridge. I was concerned about how to remove the damaged stud. As luck would have it, your site contained a video on how to remove it. Without the video, I would not have been so successful and would most likely have done more harm than good. I replaced the start relay and overload switch with the single part Overload/Relay part number AP3119971. Now it operates like new. Had no problem replacing part, just followed instructions. I was very pleased at a single part replacement for both, relay and overload. I was expecting just to replace the overload. This is much, mush better. Compressor relay & overload combination kit with all related mounting hardware. Replaces old style relay and overload.
The new overload/relay kit corrected the problem. The Panduit/zip-ties supplied in the replacement kit didn't fit where the illustration showed in the directions but smaller zip-ties connected together did fit and held the relay against the compressor just fine and the sealant had good squeeze-out.
