This small spring clip secures the oven bake/hidden element to the range housing, keeping the heating element properly positioned for consistent operation and preventing movement or rattling during use. What it does:

• Holds the oven element in place at the mounting bracket so the element stays aligned
• Prevents the element from shifting, vibrating, or making contact with other components
• Helps maintain a stable electrical and mechanical connection at the element mounting point
