The Icemaker Fill Cup Sensor is an OEM part for Whirlpool bottom-mount and side-by-side refrigerators. Located inside the icemaker assembly, the fill cup sensor works to automatically detect when an ice scoop or bucket is in place below the icemaker chute. It signals the icemaker to drop ice cubes into the receptacle below.
