This factory 8-18 screw secures appliance panels, brackets, and components. Replace missing or stripped hardware to restore a tight, rattle-free assembly and dependable operation.
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube. I then reversed disassembly. Unscrewed the front lower panel ( 2 screws ). Disconnected the pump hose clamp and removed the hose. I loosened the lower back panel and pulled out the drained hose from the rear. Replaced with new hose put back clamp and panels. Very easy Read more
