This is a right-side tub corner baffle that seals the interior corner of the dishwasher tub where the door meets the tub walls. It prevents water from leaking out through gaps at the tub corners during the wash cycle. Replace this baffle if you notice water leaking from the sides of the door or pooling underneath the dishwasher.
This is a rubber hose that connects the dishwasher sump to the drain pump, allowing water to flow from the wash basin to the pump for draining. It is a critical part of the drainage system.
