This is a Belleville-style spring steel washer used in the suspension or counterweight mounting system of a washing machine. It acts as a spacer and provides spring tension to help absorb vibration during the spin cycle. Replace this washer if the machine vibrates excessively, makes banging noises, or if the original washer is flattened, cracked, or missing.
This is a three-way water inlet valve that controls the flow of hot, cold, and bleach water into the washing machine tub during the wash and rinse cycles. It opens and closes electronically based on signals from the control board. Replace this valve if the washer is not filling with water, filling slowly, leaking from the back, or if water continues to trickle into the tub when the machine is off.
