This tub support assembly holds the washing machine drum in place and includes the spin tube for water drainage. It replaces worn supports that cause excessive vibration, loud noises, or drum movement during operation. Install when your washer shakes violently, makes grinding sounds, or the drum feels loose.
I installed all the necessary parts that I received from you and it works great, now. I received the parts in good time without overnighting them. I had the whole washing machine apart and went through it all before ordering parts. Tear down and assembly was easy. I just took my time. The washer is 17 years old and was well built. It was worth it compared to what is on the market today, and cheaper. Read more

This protective component secures the power cord where it enters the washer cabinet, preventing wire damage from movement or strain. Replace if the power cord pulls loose, shows signs of damage at the entry point, or the washer intermittently loses power.
Catches lint, threads, and strings.
This electrical connector safely disconnects power between the washer's motor and control circuits. Located inside the washer cabinet near the motor, it allows for safe component servicing. Replace if the washer experiences electrical issues, intermittent operation, or if the connector shows signs of burning or corrosion.
This genuine OEM part is an outer tub for washers. The outer tub is the main tub where clothes are set to wash. If the tub is no longer spinning properly or is making a loud noise as it rubs against the washer, it will need to be replaced. Thankfully, replacing this part is a relatively simple process. To replace the outer tub, start by making sure the washer is unplugged. After that, remove the front panel of the washer. Once removed, lift up the top panel so that it is no longer covering the outer tub. Next, locate the mounting bolts that secure the tub and unthread them using a socket wrench. Once removed, lift the tub out from the washer. Replace with the new tub and secure the mounting bolts. Reinstall the front panel and plug the washer back in. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpools, Maytag, Kitchenaid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand washers.

Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!) Ordered the lid switch and it was an easy repair. A $14.00 switch was a lot cheaper than a $450.00 washer. Thanks appliance parts... Read more
