This OEM Replacement Part is a water filter designed to fit most models of Electrolux side-by-side and French door refrigerators. Its primary role is to provide clean and fresh-tasting water for drinking, cooking, and ice-making.
The filter's reduction rates significantly decrease a range of contaminants including Cysts (99.99%), Class 1 Particulates (99.10%), Turbidity (97.80%), Aesthetic Chlorine (97.40%), Lead (99.30%), Mercury (96.60%), and certain herbicides and pesticides. The filter operates at a flow rate of 0.5 GPM with a max pressure of 100 psi and a max temperature of 100 F. It has been tested and certified to ANSI/NSF standards 42 and 53, underlining its quality and performance.
This filter, measuring approximately 8" x 2.5" x 2.37", has a simple push-in installation process that requires no special tools.

Replaced evaporator heater and housing. Just make sure you also replace the thermostat. If not it is a little challenging to get the wires out of the old thermostat/ heater plug into the new plug. Also if you have the same problem be prepared to have a good heat gun to melt the ice buildup around the evaporator and drain hole. Diagnosed problem, went on line and found ApplianceParts. Easy to locate needed part, ordered and within 3 days had the replacement. Followed directions and installed, now good as new. Hard part was removing the old. Thanks Read more
