Mounted control board assembly that manages the appliance's electronic operations and user controls. Replaces a failed or damaged control board to help restore proper electronic control, user interface response, and normal cycle operation. What it does:
A service tech diagnosed the problem as the control board. He ruled out other potential problems. Estimated it would cost close to $300 to fix above the $90 service charge. I figured that I could do it myself and ordered the control board, opened up the back, removed the original board and installed the new one. Took about an hour. Washing machine is working again. Original service call cost and part totaled less than $200. I'm happy. Hope that the machine functions for many more years. Read more

Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Installed the new valve, replaced the bracket and the toe cover and dish washer is back in service like brand new. Wife was ready to... Read more
A replacement pulsator (wash plate) that moves water and clothing during the wash cycle to maintain agitation and even cleaning. Installs at the tub hub and works with the factory retaining fastener to restore proper water flow. What it does
Replaced the Coupling Pulsator, and the Pulsator (short spindle in the center of the washer). The only problem that I encountered was how to remove the short spindle in the center of the washer...my fabric softer is in the center and you need to open that, grab the middle and loosen by turning left. Once that is out you will use a 7/16th socket and remove the entire agitator. Most of the videos show that you pull that straight up to remove - not the short one. There is still a screw to remove.... Read more
