This control panel is the front user interface assembly that lets you select and start appliance cycles and displays status information. It replaces a worn or unresponsive panel to restore control and clear interface issues. What it does:

Replaced control board. The repair was relatively straightforward, just swap out the board and connect all the wiring clips and light bulb thingees in the right places. The black shafts that connects the cycle selector dial to the rotary switch on the control board was a bit tricky--make sure everything is aligned. This is the clear glass panel mounted inside the washer door that allows you to see your laundry during the wash cycle while creating a seal that keeps water inside the drum. It sits within the door frame and is held in place by the inner and outer door panels. Replace it when the glass is cracked, chipped, or shattered, which can cause leaks or pose a safety hazard.
I ordered the new inner glass which arrived overnight, I was very surprised and elated with the delivery time.
