This is the right-side outer panel for a freestanding range, providing the exterior surface that faces outward when the unit is installed at the end of a counter run. This is the gas manifold that distributes gas from the supply line to the individual surface burners on a gas range. It connects to each burner valve and ensures consistent gas flow across all burners. Replace this manifold if you notice gas leaks at the connections, uneven burner performance, or if the manifold tube is cracked or corroded.
I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new.
