This is a seal gasket that fits around the burner drip pan on a cooktop or range. It creates a tight seal between the drip pan and the cooktop surface to prevent spills and debris from falling beneath the burner area. Replace this gasket if it is cracked, hardened, or no longer sealing properly, which can allow grease and liquids to leak below the cooktop.
