This replacement part is a bushing, and it is intended for use in different types of appliances. This is a genuine replacement part made by Frigidaire. This bushing is typically found in dishwashers but is compatible with other devices as well. The bushings are an important part of many appliances as they help reduce friction inside the machine during the different washing cycles. Found exactly the same Error concern and the part recommended to fix it on the APP web site. The part came the very next day after I ordered it!!!!!!!! Any difficulty with the repair was only because my husband and I aren't very mechanically inclined - replacing the part was super easy but putting the door back together and getting all the holes/screws lined up was what took a while. But it's fixed and WAY cheaper and faster than paying for a service call. Read more
