I've never attempted to repair an appliance myself before, but I seen it was really bothering my wife because it was a Sunday with a holiday on Monday. So I pulled the dryer out and looked at the back and seen it was only six screws to take the top off the back. Then it was only two wires attached to the starter button. Fix was simple. Hardest part was taking off old part and attaching the new part. The drum was in the way but I worked around it. Started by opening dryer top, then unscrewing the timer mechanism in order to create some slack. Removed the wires from the start switch and replaced the old switch with the new one. Reconnected the wires and screwed everything back in place. Simple fix wish I had more strength in my hands. Girl Power!! Read more
