Replacement drip pan installs below range surface burners to catch spills. Replace if rusted, discolored, scorched, or coated with buildup that won't clean.
Burner element was broken and partially melted. Didn't know if element or switch or kettle started it. Switch smelled burnt and bad; "burner on" light was on regardless of switch position. Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping.
