This lower oven heat shield protects the range's under-floor components by deflecting and dispersing high heat. It helps prevent damage to wiring, insulation and nearby panels for safer, more reliable oven operation. What it does:

• Deflects and distributes heat away from the oven floor and cabinet cavities
• Protects wiring, insulation and nearby components from excessive heat exposure
• Helps prevent warped panels, scorched insulation or premature component failure
• Restores proper heat routing when the original shield is damaged, bent or missing

• One lower heat shield

• Disconnect power (and gas supply for gas ranges) before starting any service
• Handle carefully; edges may be sharp—wear gloves and eye protection
