Watched a you tube video first. Placed parts in a vise ( not tight ) to start self tapping screws. Read more
It was super simple. I found a YouTube video that walked me through removing the front plate that secures the cooktop in place, then raising the top (like the hood of a car) to remove the burner panels (2 screws on each assembly...2 burner assemblies), then lowering the top and sliding it off of the range.
