The door vent trim cap is the small plastic cover that snaps over the vent opening on your appliance door, protecting the vent from damage and giving it a finished appearance while allowing air to flow through. It keeps debris out of the vent channel and helps maintain the door's aesthetic. Replace this part if the cap is cracked, broken off, or missing, leaving an unsightly or unprotected opening on the door.

I ordered a new oven bottom ($65 instead of new stove). I put it off, anticipating that it wouldn't be as simple as it sounded. When I finally put the new one in, it literally took 4 minutes!! Remove the two screws in the back, old one slid out, new one slid in. Simple. Read more
