Removed the freezer shelves and back panel, evaporator coils were frozen with ice. Defrosted coil and removed defrost heater connectors, measured no continuity in the heater and ordered a replacement. Also discovered the aluminum retention strap was broken and the heater had slipped down in it's position, ordered and replacement strap. I removed the cardboard cover on the back of the fridge with a 1/4 inch nut driver. I disconnected all of the wire harness connections. There were a total of 6 or 7. I removed the bolts on the compressor so I could access the ground wires behind the compressor. I removed the ground wires behind the compressor as well as the ones in front of the compressor.
