The Oven Door Seal is an OEM replacement part for select Frigidaire oven and range models. It fits around the outer edge of the oven door, creating an insulating barrier that locks in heat. The seal is critical for efficient baking and broiling by preventing heat loss from the oven cavity.
Symptoms of a faulty oven door seal include:
Causes include shrinkage and cracks from years of exposure to heat. Grease and residue accumulating in the door channel could also compromise the seal's fit.
