I ordered a replacement handle from Appliance Parts Pro.com and installed it after watching the video at their site for a similar model. The video told of the trick on removing the door surround that allowed me to access the handle screws. I purchased new handle screws at the same time I bought the new handle. The new handle and screws were a bit different than the original but fit perfectly. Hopefully it will be more durable than the original handle. Read more

Watched under dishwasher during rinse cycle to see if I could determine where it was leaking. Could not. So watch a number videos to give me an idea what might be the problem. The suspect was the drain hose. So I pulled out the dishwasher and removed the drain hose. Hose looked ok, but during the removal a rubber check valve fell out from drain pump. It took a long time to determine the problem but eventually I discovered that the plastic bracket (latch hook) that held the three door-switches showed appreciable wear from repeated door openings and closings. This wear stopped the door from sealing properly and the door switch safety mechanism blew the line fuse.
