Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Door hinge freezer and refridg   John E. • College Corner , OH • October 23, 2015

I entered the model number, got the parts list, ordered the parts. Parts were shipped on Monday, I received them on Thursday. All good. Parts were exactly as ordered, and exactly what was needed to fix refridg. Once again, Appliance Parts Pros. came through. One part was not shipped as scheduled, and the customer service person, gave me a 20% discount on a future order, even though both parts arrived on the same day. Terrific Customer Service! Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Bushing had been damaged   Lynda H. • Chattanooga , TN • March 11, 2017

Very easy fix. I couldn't find the part number so actually ordered this part just by looking at the picture. Fortunately I guessed right and the part was exactly what I needed. I just had to slip the part over the part that holds the temperature control knob on my gas cook top. I received the part the next day after I ordered it! Very satisfied. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Compressor quit running   Wayne S. • Millersport , OH • November 03, 2014

I want to thank you. I was convinced that I needed a new run capacitor until talking to your rep on the phone. After describing the symptoms he suggested that I needed a new relay. He gave me info on how to meter the cap and it checked out fine. I ordered the new relay it has fixed the problem. The old one was definitely shot as I could hear it guts rattle around after I removed it. Now I don't need to buy a new freezer. That makes me happy. Thank you! Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Refrigerator gasket wouldn't seal (deformed)   Edward C. • Coventry , CT • December 05, 2016

The refrigerator gasket had a large gap at the top - due to the leak, both gaskets had mold growing on them so I just replaced both. Generally straightforward, only advice I would give is to loosen the screws as much as possible before removing. On the freezer, the plastic piece (door) which holds the gasket in place cracked in a few locations because I didn't loosen it enough before removing. The corners were tough to fit in but was able to. Loosened the screws on the bottom door more and it... Read more
