This assembly combines the spark igniter and orifice holder for a 9,500-BTU cooktop surface burner. The igniter creates the spark to light the gas, while the orifice holder meters the correct gas flow to the burner. I removed the cooktop main top. Lifted the foil insulation. Then I had to unscrew the tubes to be able to unscrew the Cooktop Burner Valve which needed to be replaced. Replacing was simple.
