I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. Replaces a broken, worn, or damaged oven door hinge on your range. Allows the door to open and close smoothly. Order if your hinge is cracked or bent.
I replaced the hinges. The door just slides up, after opening it slightly. Each hinge is held by three screws, and has a spring hooked to the inboard end. After removing the screws, I pulled hard on the hinge, to get the spring hook exposed. The long tang, on the spring, allowed me to hook the new hinge onto the spring, before unhooking the old hinge.
