Leaking from the bottom of the tub door Joseph P. • Palmyra , PA • April 10, 2015
The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? The bottom Door Seal/Gasket was badly worn, and the entire job took me around 30 minutes which included the detailed cleaning of the mating flanges. Take your...

Upper spray arm not getting dishes clean Scott G. • San Diego , CA • May 01, 2016
1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3. In hind sight, I realized the strainer was warped and was allowing the debris to penetrate all of the critical areas. Ordered new strainer and it fit up flush...

This thermistor is the dishwasher's temperature sensor. It reports water temperature to the control so the heater and cycle timing are managed correctly, helping restore reliable wash performance and more consistent drying.
- Monitors water temperature in the tub/sump and sends readings to the control board
- Helps the control regulate heater operation and determine cycle progress/timing
- Failure can result in no heat or poor drying
- May cause unusually long/short cycles or temperature-related fault codes
What's included: 1 thermistor Install notes:
- Disconnect power at the breaker and shut off the water supply before servicing
- Access is typically from the toe-kick/base area or sump; remove the lower access panel as needed
- Release the locking tab/clip, remove the sensor, and ensure the existing seal/O-ring is properly seated; install the new sensor fully to prevent leaks
- Reconnect the wire harness, restore power, and run a test cycle to check for leaks and proper heating

Dish washer was stuck in never ending wash cycle Carlos E. • Rockford , MI • December 11, 2015
After a bit of testing I found that this thermister was not closing when the water was up to temp, causing the machine to stay in the wash cycle. This was a 5 minute job to change, accessible from under the machine without moving it. Easy fix, good price!

This door gasket is the flexible rubber seal that closes the refrigerator door, helping keep cold air in and reduce energy loss. Replacing a worn or torn gasket restores a tight seal and helps the appliance maintain proper temperature. What it does:
- Seals the cabinet to keep cold air inside and warm air out
- Helps maintain consistent fridge/freezer temperature and efficiency
- Reduces frosting and moisture buildup caused by leaks
- Commonly needed when the seal is cracked, torn, warped, or no longer mates flush with the cabinet
What's included:
- One replacement door gasket
Install notes:
- Clean the door flange and gasket mounting area before installing to ensure a proper seal
- Inspect for mounting clips or retainer channel; follow appliance-specific alignment steps for a snug fit
- Warm the gasket slightly (per OEM guidance) if needed to ease installation — avoid open flames or excessive heat

Leaking from heater coil Jason S. • Saint Paul , TX • December 02, 2014
When I identified a leak coming from the Heating Coil, I saw that the Heating Element Nut on both sides were corroded and could not hold the heating element tight any more. I ordered replacement parts and the fix was very easy. As I was running the test afterwards, I discovered that there was a leak coming from under the door. I realized then that the reason the heating element nut corroded was because of a leak in the door. I ordered a new door gasket and door seal (that goes at the bottom...
