Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed. I removed the door (naturally the screws were also rusted) and replaced the outer door skin with the replacement I ordered from you. It was a piece of cake once the screws were loosened with penetrating oil and help from a friends impact screwderver.

I believe the shock absorbers were bad and caused too much stress on the spring, breaking it. I replaced the spring, spring protector, and shock absorbers. I got lucky; when I got the drum back up where it belonged I saw that the door boot seal straightened itself back out and wasn’t damaged so I didn’t have to replace it. The whole job took about three hours and the washing machine runs more smoothly now than it did when it was new!

Follow instructions on internet. The only issue was the flat head allen drive screw securing the belt pulley to the shaft. Rounded the allen drive and wrench. Drilled two holes on opposite sides of allen drive hole. Elongated to make a long slot. Used impact driver to remove screw.
