This is a wire-style clamp that secures the overload relay cover on the compressor at the back of the refrigerator. It holds the protective cover tightly in place over the relay and overload components to prevent them from coming loose. Replace this clamp if it is bent, broken, or missing, which can allow the relay cover to detach and leave electrical components exposed.

Channels cold air from the evaporator into the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper airflow.
