This 1/4" compression nut and ring is used to connect the water supply line to the water valve inlet. Can be used anywhere a 1/4" compression fitting is needed.

I removed the old dispenser cover/plastic frame (bottom portion broken off/separated and held in with three rusted screws) - disconnected the ribbon from the circuit board. Installed the new ribbon cable in the circuit board located behind the dispenser cover. Removed the backing from the new "Frigidaire Gallery Series" label and attached the label to the front of the dispenser cover and reinstalled on the refrigerator door with three new screws. I ordered the replacement Cover and it arrived within 10 days. I was told that it was easy to remove the old cover and reapply the new one. I didn't believe that would be possible. However, today I removed the old one (had to use a hair dryer because the old one was brittle) and it came right off (also used a putty knife to get under the edge). Putting the new one on was not the problem that I had imagined. Was careful and lined up the top to the top of the Module, and then pressed it on. ... Read more
