This genuine OEM part is the main control board for refrigerators. The main control board is the primary circuit board that controls the refrigerator's essential functions of maintaining and controlling temperature. If the refrigerator is no longer staying cool, powering on, or maintaining proper temperature, the main control board will need to be replaced. To begin, start by unplugging the refrigerator. Once unplugged, proceed to uninstall the inner door panel of the refrigerator by removing the mounting screws. Once removed, access the old control board. Remove the wire harness and any individual wires attached to the old board. After that, pull the old board out of its mounting brackets to fully remove it from the refrigerator. Reinsert the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap it into its mounting brackets. Once secured, reinstall the inner panel of the refrigerator and restore power to the appliance. This authentic replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand refrigerators.

I checked with Appliance Parts Pros.com and found out that the likely culprit was a broken Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm. I watched a video on the same site and figured I could change that part. I wanted to confirm it was that part so I took the front section apart. The Ice Dispenser Actuator Arm was in fact broken; the little tab that strikes the switch had broken off.
