Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The agitator was not working   John H. • Auburn , NY • October 11, 2016

The agitator stopped functioning and there was a squeaking sound occurring in agitation mode. I found that if I cranked down on the agitator cap, screwing in as hard as I could, the agitator would work briefly, then the cap would loosen and agitator stop moving. I removed the agitator cap, along with which came the agitator stud cap and a rubber washer/seal which was jammed up into the underside of the cap. I lifted out the agitator from the drum and inspected it and the hub best I could.... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Frigidaire laundry center not agitating goes through whole wash process including spin cycle no agitation   Keith Y. • Murrieta , CA • February 19, 2016

Replaced transmission. If you have a laundry center like me, you don't have alot of space. Replacing the parts want difficult. Just limited space made it harder. Also couldn't find a removal video for one of these but using a video for a frigidaire stand alone washer ouput me in the ball park and figured it out from there. Appliance parts pros had the best process too! Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You My washer started banging bad on the spin cycle and i would have to force the top open rearange the load and then it would work to finish after further review it was the springs   David H. • Englewood , FL • April 06, 2018

Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. The Videos, ARE AWESOME. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washing machine lid rusted through clearly the machine outlasted the lid   Janet R. • Hopewell , VA • May 09, 2014

I ordered the lid from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived very quickly. Received it with in two days of the order. I was debating for 7 years whether or not to order the lid. Washing machine worked and is still working perfectly, but the integrity of the old lid was so degraded even after having taken steps to preserve it for as long as possible. 7 years ago I saw the beginning of the lid showing signs of rust. I just wasn't sure about ordering the part, wondering if the washing machine... Read more
