The refrigerator orifice is a small precision opening that controls water flow rate to the ice maker or water dispenser system. Located within the water line assembly, it regulates proper pressure and flow. Replace if water flow is too slow, too fast, or completely blocked, affecting ice production or dispenser function.
As you may know, plastic parts for the interior of a fridge are expensive and hard to find. I was happy to find replacements at AppliancePartsPros and even happier when I confirmed that they fit. Ordering was easy, delivery was fast and installation a piece of cake. Removed the back cover to access the fan area. Clean the area with brush and vac first. Unplugged the Refrigerator. Used a socket set with 1/4" socket. Had an extended and a standard socket. Removed the condensate plastic drain from the bottom of the refrigerator to have more access to the fan. Unplugged the fan motor. Removed the two screws holding the fan in place.
