This bi-metal thermostat controls the defrost cycle in your freezer by sensing temperature changes and signaling when to start and stop defrosting. It automatically switches the defrost heater on and off to prevent excessive ice buildup on the evaporator coils. If your freezer is building up too much frost or ice, or if defrost cycles aren't working properly, this thermostat may need replacement.
Replaces cracked, broken, or worn trim on refrigerator door shelf edges. Snaps or screws into place to restore a clean appearance and secure items.
