The Hub is an OEM replacement part for GE dishwashers. It is the central mechanism which attaches to the tub and facilitates rotation of the upper spray arm above dishes.
Causes of a bad hub include wear from years of repeated rotation, accumulation of hard water scale deposits inside moving parts, or accidental impact damage. This reduces proper function over time.
