A temperature-sensing switch that controls the automatic defrost cycle in your refrigerator's freezer section. Replace when experiencing excessive frost buildup, constantly running defrost heater, or inconsistent freezer temperatures.
Replaced the assembly with a new one while I made coffee. Called the OEM and ended up ordering the part twice, once over the phone and once on-line after the first never arrived. OEM didn't mention the part was on back order. While I was on the phone cancelling both orders I was able to find and purchase the correct part from Appliance Part Pros.
