First I ordered the incorrect part, but after researching the parts offered I realized that the small part was not available. I then ordered the whole ice bin and it was delivered very fast and so simple to take the other one out and replace with new one. Ice maker works great now! Intermittently, could not toggle back to dispense ice from after water selected. it would work fine for months at a time then stop functioning. called service,, could not duplicate problem therefore no fix. did research for over a year for others with same issue. found solution here and swapped control board as suggested. been working fine for a week now,, lets see how long it lasts. any info about manufacturer recall on issue would be appreciated. pete Read more
