We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent. Testing showed that the flap was now free but did not close during the running cycle. I swapped the leads from the dispenser motor with those on the vent and... Read more
Ordered what thought was a new door. It turned out to be a cover panel only. After I figured it out, it worked perfectly. Only remove 7 screws, slipped on the panel and viola, instant fix. Read more
