We took off the front door cover and found that the vent had failed some time ago- the flap was frozen open, the motor did not work. We removed the three screws and the vent came of- putting the new one back was just that simple except that I had to remove the protective paper from the adhesive covered gasket around the surface of vent. Ordered what thought was a new door. It turned out to be a cover panel only. After I figured it out, it worked perfectly. Only remove 7 screws, slipped on the panel and viola, instant fix. Read more
