Agitator (Upper)
Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 131427200

This replacement upper agitator restores the washer's normal wash action by moving clothes and improving water circulation for better cleaning. It fits the factory agitator location and replaces worn, cracked, or damaged agitators to restore performance. What it does:

  • Rotates during the wash cycle to move garments through the water for more effective cleaning
  • Promotes water flow and prevents clothes from bunching or tangling
  • Replaces a cracked, broken, or excessively worn agitator that causes poor wash results
  • Helps reduce unusual noise or vibration caused by a damaged agitator
What's included:
  • One upper agitator
Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and water supply before beginning any repair
  • Remove the agitator cap/cover and securement (bolt or clip) to lift out the old agitator
  • Install hardware to manufacturer torque recommendations
  • Run a short test cycle with a small load to check for leaks or vibration

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Frigidaire laundry center not agitating goes through whole wash process including spin cycle no agitation   Keith Y. • Murrieta , CA • February 19, 2016

Replaced transmission. If you have a laundry center like me, you don't have alot of space. Replacing the parts want difficult. Just limited space made it harder. Also couldn't find a removal video for one of these but using a video for a frigidaire stand alone washer ouput me in the ball park and figured it out from there. Appliance parts pros had the best process too! Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Loud screaming grinding noise on spin cycle   Mike K. • West Palm Beach , FL • October 24, 2018

I like fixing things and I like my 15 year old Frigidaire GLWS1649AS2, so I wanted to fix it. What I discovered, apart from what's seen in the videos: I went through all the research and started taking apart the machine thinking I needed a new spin bearing and wanting to see if and what I could do. I was willing to find I couldn't do anything, buy a new machine and trash this one. I thought I'd play it safe and also planned on the tub seals. Once I got the tubs out (the point at which I... Lid Lock Switch Assembly
Genuine Frigidaire part
By: Frigidaire
Part Number: 134101800

This washer switch is both the lid lock and lid switch. New mounting bracket replaces older design. Which means in some applications you may need to drill off old design mounting bracket prior to mounting the new lock. If your replacing the 4 wire switch you will need to tape off light switch leads. The light will no longer be used. Instructions included.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You My 20 year old frigidaire stackable washer needed the lid switch replaced so it would trigger the spin cycle   Maryann S. • Owosso , MI • March 13, 2014

I unplugged the power source to the appliance. I unscrewed 2 screws and unplugged the lid switch. I replaced the old switch with the new switch and screwed in the same 2 screws that held the old switch in place and plugged the new lid switch back in under the lid. that's it . I plugged in the washer and started a load of clothes. works just fine. NO HUGE REPAIR BILL. Gosh it makes me happy to do such a simple repair to my old machine and for a very reasonable part price, my washer is... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Squeeked when dryer running   Lloyd L. • Greentop , MO • September 18, 2015

Ordered rear drum bearing kit and watched video on how to replace it. I completed the job in 2 hours, it took awhile for me to figure out which screws had to be removed as I have the small washer/dryer combo that dryer sits on top. Once replaced, put back together and ran it for a test run and it was quiet. Thank you, the video helped, especially in using the grease supplied to hold ball bearing and to grease bearing(last time I only ordered the bearing and didn't know to use grease. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You My washer started banging bad on the spin cycle and i would have to force the top open rearange the load and then it would work to finish after further review it was the springs   David H. • Englewood , FL • April 06, 2018

Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. The Videos, ARE AWESOME. Read more
